Where do you stand politically?

Personally, I'm an Independent. The reason is I agree with several issues from all the different viewpoints, but I don't agree with everything from any particular political view.
With that said, I believe I would be more aligned with a Socialist/Communist view. After I took the political compass test, it said I was very far left on the Economy scale (heavy Government-controlled economy), but pretty centralized on the social scale, with a slight tendency towards Authoritarian over Libertarian (leaning towards Government-controlled personal lives).

I'm a conservative with a progressive attitude. I'm neither left or right of the spectrum; I adjust accordingly with each issue. I support gay rights [because, frankly, I couldn't give a flying f*ck about it] and abortion, but I do not support greater autonomy of Cataluña, for example.

I've been researching so I've sorta regressed from full blown communist to Democratic Socialism. I'm all for small scale POension, Education Funds and small scale Nat'nl Healthcare, but if the Gov't gets too heavily involved, it'll be wasteful and in efficient.
