Today several members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Stormed the Kremlin and decleared THe Russian Federation The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. a Man Named Joesf Stalin (Changed name original unknown) has declared himself the Premier of The Union of Soviet Soicalist Republics

it seems that the Military has supported this Coup. Old Soveit Generals wish for their cold war era power and influence.

The Prime Minister publicly condemned the usurping of power by Stalinist forces in Russia, today. He noted with dismay at the fragile candle of peace and freedom in Russia that is now "...in grave danger of becoming extinguished."

He called on 'Premier Stalin' to renounce his actions, and to bring the issue to a General Election; to allow the people of Russia to decide. Although Prime Minister Laurent expressed his optimism at peaceful relations with the reborn USSR, he was quite adament in the Canadian commitment to peace and freedom in nations of the former Warsaw Pact, "Canada is now, and will always be committed to the peace and freedom of all nations. We will use any and all means in accordance with our allies in Europe and across the globe to ensure such conditions are preserved."
